About Me

From launching a neighborhood business at the age of 11 to coding for a defense contractor on missile and satellite systems in college to winning early victories in the courtroom, I've always been both builder and problem-solver. A client once called me "tenacious, creative, and business-oriented in finding solutions to complex legal challenges" - a blend of grit, heart, and strategy certainly defines my approach.

For over two decades, I've served as trusted counsel for startups through Fortune 500 companies, including leading multiple departments during a secondment at a global tech firm. My work lives at the intersection of law, technology, and leadership, focused on facilitating growth through confident yet grounded decision-making.

This year, I authored The Monsoon Method - Rainmaking Redefined, a business development framework born from rainmaking and mentoring. My experience gave me both a front-row seat and backstage pass to how relationships, momentum, and authentic presence drive professional success. To make sure I left the ladder down for those who follow, I felt compelled to share what I'd learned.

My proudest moments remain in service to those most in need, from representing my first pro bono client, a Mexican transgender immigrant seeking asylum, to receiving recognition from the State Bar of California and Los Angeles County Bar Association for the work.

Beyond the courtroom, I'm committed to civic engagement and modeling service leadership for my children through the following board and advisory board roles:

My earlier leadership extended to chairing the National Advisory Council for the South Asian Bar Association of North America (after serving as President), Treasurer of the Ecumenical Hunger Program, Trustee for Young Jains of America, and Founding Member of Chief and Neythri.

Coming soon: an AI consulting business empowering legal teams (for profit and non-profit) to thoughtfully integrate generative AI by enhancing, not replacing, what makes lawyering human.

Most importantly, I am a mother of two amazing children - an 11 year old whose creativity is unrivaled and a 6 year old who was born to lead, and a partner to my spouse of 16 years.
